Q: Do you have beach chairs and/or umbrellas?
No, there is a beach chairs and umbrella rental station on the beach.
Q: Is Smoking Permitted?
Guest smoking is not permitted in the building, or on the balconies.
Q: What time is check in and check out?
Typically during the summer season Check in 3pm / Check out 10am. Times may be flexible during the off season.
Q: Is grilling outdoors permitted?
Ocean City does not permit grilling on the premises. However, grilling is permitted at several of the area parks.
Q: Can you recommend any restaurants?
Ocean City has a lot of nice places to eat. Please refer to the "Helpful Links" tab for a list of some of them.
Q: Do you have an outdoor pool?
We have an indoor/outdoor pool. During nice weather, the southern and western pool area opens up to the outdoors with lots of fresh air and sunshine, along with a beautiful view of the bay!
Q: What is the parking situation?
You are permitted parking spaces for two cars.
Q: Are pets permitted?
The building does not allow guests to bring pets.
Q: Is the pool open year around?
Yes, the pool is open all year.
Q: How far away is the boardwalk?
The Makai is located on 42nd street. The boardwalk begins on 27th street.
Q: How far away is the Convention Center?
The Makai is next door to the Convention Center.
Q: How far away is the beach?
The Makai is on the bay and one block from the beach.
